The swing state of Wisconsin in the US has been called for Joe Biden, easing his path to victory in the 2020 presidential elections.
The result is a major shift from results counted yesterday which saw controversial Donald Trump doing better than expected. Biden now seems set to reach the 270 electoral vote threshold needed to win the White House.
Winning the state of Wisconsin handed the Democratic candidate 10 additional electoral collage votes. Winning Michagan where he currently leads Trump will hand him a further 16 points thereby needing an additional 6 electoral college points to be elected the 46th President of the United States of America.
However, President Trump's campaign are demanding a recount in Wisconsin and took legal action for counting in Michigan to be halted, crying electoral fraud.
