On May 18th, 2019, GDA completed the final payment for the land we will utilize for the proposed multi-purpose centre. This means we have been cleared to finish land leasing requirements and begin construction on the site.
GDA is here to serve the people of Gunjur and meet the needs of the community. Thus, we have created a survey asking the people of Gunjur to identify the types of programs they would like to see at the Centre. Your feedback is very important to us, and it will help with the planning process. Please follow this link to participate in the survey:

We urge all to please participate in the fundraising events, proceeds of which will be used towards the construction project. Those in Gunjur have been paying D100 a month, and Diaspora residents are paying D1,000 a month. Any amount or donation will be appreciated because we understand not all are able to donate the amounts set forth by the general membership at one of our meetings.
We appreciate and thank all who contributed funds that were used to purchase the land. Now, we need to work together and raise funds to build a state-of-the-art multi-purpose center for the residents of our beloved Gunjur.
