At least 25 Gambian immigrants in Germany are at risk of ‘imminent’ deportation,reliable sources have informed Gunjuronline.
The foreign ministry spokesman, Saikou Ceesay, was contacted by Gunjuronline to comment on the veracity of reports.
He said:”I’m not currently aware of any planned deportation of Gambians in Germany. But I would like to refer you to the immigration department for more information”.
It’s the understanding of Gunjuronline from previous occurrence that the referral to immigration ministry is a tactic deployed by the foreign ministry to deflect heat from controversial issues.
