The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced strict new rules in the UK to tackle the spread of deadly coronavirus.
With immediate effect, people must now stay at home except for shopping trips for basic necessities, one form of daily exercise, any medical need and travelling to and from essential work only.
Retail outlets selling non-essential goods will also be shut and gatherings in public of more than two people who do not live together strictly prohibited.
Police will fine anyone who isn’t abiding by the new measures aimed at slowing the spread of the virus.
The U.K. has today announced further deaths from the virus which now stands at a total of 335 deaths.
