Gambia President Adama Barrow has called for Gambians in all walks of life to work with him to fulfil his development agenda for the country. Barrow was speaking at a rally at the Buffer Zone as part of his “Meet the people’s Tour”
Speaking in front of thousands of supporters, President Barrow specifically called on members of the coalition that brought him to power to come back and work with him to develop the country.
His words: “ I am a President for all Gambians including opposition. There is nothing wrong being in opposition as opposition is good for a country. However, being in opposition is not just to talk, but to act in the development efforts of the country”
Barrow assured the people of KMC that his government has development plans for the region in road infrastructure, water supply among other development projects. He concluded by thanking his supporters who have spend their own cash in ensuring that the meetings went successfully throughout the country.
”2020 to 2021 will see Gambia witnessing something that they have never experience since independence in terms of national development” concluded president Barrow.
