Former ruling APRC party top official and spokesman, Ousman Rambo Jatta, yesterday issued chilling admonition to Toufah Jallow who accused former President and party leader of APRC, Yahya Jammeh of rape.
In an interview with BBC and at the TRRC, Ms Jallow said she was 18 when she met president Jammeh after winning a beauty pageant in 2014.
In the months following her coronation, she said the former president acted as a father figure when they met, offering her advice, gifts and money, and also arranging for running water to be installed in her family home.
Then at a dinner organised by an aide to the president, she says he asked her to marry him. She refused and rebuffed other enticements from the aide to agree to the offer.
Ms Jallow says he slapped her and injected her in her arm with a needle.
"He rubbed his genitals in my face, pushed me down to my knees, pulled my dress up and sodomised me”,she revealed.
In an address to APRC faithful in Abuko yesterday, Ousman Rambo asserted:
“Toufah Jallow we are not ready with you.We are waiting for the recommendations of TRRC. That’s when we shall decide what path to take with you.
Yahya Jammeh has given to your mother and father, but I don’t blame you because a slave will always be a slave.If you come from a family of slaves, you remain a slave.But we will deal with you later”.
