𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐮𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟏𝟒-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭

A group of volunteers from Marlborough, United Kingdom, arrived in Gunjur on Saturday evening as part of the longstanding friendship and partnership between Gunjur and Marlborough.

The visiting team, organised through the Marlborough Brandt Group, comprises 19 students and two teachers from St John’s School in Marlborough, accompanied by two Venture Force leaders.

The group will spend the next 14 days in Gunjur, engaging in community activities and supporting local development initiatives.

Their main focus during the visit will be at Gunjur Primary School, where they will undertake renovation works on teachers’ accommodation.

The visit forms part of the continued people-to-people exchange between Gunjur and Marlborough, which has helped foster friendship, cultural understanding and community cooperation between the two communities over the years.
