Gunjur, The Gambia – Badis FC of Gunjur has received a significant boost following the donation of sporting equipment by the club’s founder and chairman, Omar Badis Jammeh.

The donation, which included brand-new football boots, shin guards, and socks, was presented to both the senior and intermediate teams during a football match held on Saturday at Gunjur Senior Secondary School.

Since its establishment, Badis FC has continued to benefit from the support of Omar Badis Jammeh, a US-based former footballer who previously starred for Pan Africans FC and the Gunjur Town Team. His continued commitment to the club has played an important role in the development of young footballers in the community.

Club officials and players welcomed the latest donation, noting that the new sporting gear will enhance the teams’ preparation and competitiveness in upcoming competitions.

The support comes on the heels of a successful season for the club, with one of the teams recently emerging victorious in the Madina Salaam Football Tournament, further highlighting the progress being made by the club.

The donation is expected to strengthen the morale of players and contribute to the continued growth and success of Badis FC in local football competitions.
