Lamin E Fatty has worked as a journalist for almost a decade with multiple media houses in The Gambia . He reviewed local and international news in the local Mandinka language on Teranga FM. After the closure of Teranga FM, he tried his hands in politics with allegiance to opposition Gambia Democratic Congress(GDC) for whom he vied for member of parliament in Kombo South. Although he didn’t win, Lamin Fatty was able to pull thousands of votes which was no mean feat for a political newcomer against Hon. Kebba K. Barrow of the incumbent United Democratic Party in their stronghold.
