The case of Bob Keita 's Ex-wife Sainabou Mbye and two others resume today at the High Court in Banjul. The parties were present and the case was called for further mention.
The State Counsel Mohammed B Sowe made an application for the Court to give them two weeks to file their bill of indictment, Sagar Thomas Jahateh defense counsel opposed the State’s application and the judge made a bench ruling in favour of the State.
The Defense filed their motion on notice on Thursday afternoon, which should be due for hearing after 48 hours or two working days.
According to our competent source at the Banjul High Court, the due date to hear the defense motion will find the Hon. Judge Ebrima Jaiteh on vacation and out of jurisdiction, the bail application is thus transferred to the vacation judge Sedi Jobateh for hearing on Tuesday 9th August.
Meanwhile, the main case has been adjourned to 5th October 2022 for mentioning.
