Gunjur’s Ebrima Famara Wassa Touray has recently graduated with a PHD a in Anaesthesia from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Ebrima is one of the sons of the late Famara Wassa Touray, one of the founding fathers of The Gambia as he fought alongside other notable Gambians to attain Gambia’s independence from Britain.
Ebrima Touray, aka “Brax” as he is fondly called by his peers growing up in the sprawling coastal settlement of Gunjur is a gifted young man who has always excelled from primary school, to high school and in higher education. The man of fewer words is always destined for great things as his eyes are always fixed firmly on the price.
Qualifying as an Anaesthetist means Ebrima added his name to the growing list of highly educated people from the seaside town known for producing knowledgeable Gambians.
