The Auditor of the Gunjur Development Association, Mr Buba Jatta today graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration with distinction. Buba currently works as the Assistant Fund Manager at the Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC).
Buba Jatta also doubles as the auditor general of GDA, and we are delighted and proud of his academic achievements. As the assistant Public Relation Officer of GDA, I would like to congratulate Buba on behalf of the people of Gunjur for this great achievement. Learning at any level is challenging, even more, demanding is to learn and excel at the highest level while nursing a young family; this is an achievement extraordinary, well done my boy.
On the eve of his great day, this is what Buba has to Say; “I thank the almighty Allah three times for giving the strength to achieve my dreams. It wouldn’t be fair if I do not acknowledge the support of my beautiful wife; Isatou Jobe, my children, parents, family and my friends whose prayers and encouragement had to help me through. Finally, I would like to thank the entire Gujur community for giving me the platform to thrive, grow and I promise to give my all to return the compliment”.
On this proud day for the Gunjur community; Gunjur Development Association’s diaspora president; Mr Ousman Manjang chipped in with the following kind words; “We are so proud of you Buba Jatta on this milestone achievement and accomplishment for achieving your college degree and not only a degree, but graduating with a distinction is just an amazing feeling for us all as a Community. Mr Lamin B. Jammeh, the founder of Gunjur Online and a former school mate of Buba at the famous Muslim High School, was generous with his appraisal; “Buba Jatta was my Senior at Muslim High School in the mid-1990s. He did not only serve as a big brother to us at Muslim High, but a mentor and an inspiration to ensure that our eyes were squarely fixed on the price. Buba is gifted, and it comes as no surprise to me that he graduates with a BSc in Public Administration with Distinction”.
Finally Mr Ebrima Janneh, a childhood friend, school and a club mate; has this to say about Buba; In recognition of your academic success, I will take this opportunity to celebrate this great achievement as a childhood friend.
