Momodou Sabally, the CEO of Sabally Global Youths Leadership is the latest benefactor to the Gunjur Development Association’s multi-purpose centre project by donating 7 Bags of Cement and a cash amount of D5000.
Momodou Sabally, a former Secretary General and Head of Civil Service is an active promoter of youth development affairs in The Gambia. The donation was presented to Hatab Jobe, GDA Project Cordinator and GDA Gambia chairman on Sunday 17th April 2022.
Speaking at the presentation, Momodou Sabally said: “I am excited and honoured to associate myself with Gunjur Development Association (GDA) on this unprecedented development taking place which will benefit not only Gunjur but the entire Nation, this is remarkable and worth celebrating.”
Sabally further stated that he regards Gunjur as his source of inspiration because of it blessings in producing many great Islamic Scholars including the late Sheikh Hatab Bojang and late Oustas Omar Bun Jeng.
Mr Sabally assured GDA of his desire to continue supporting the ongoing Multipurpose Center Project.
Similar donations to the GDA multi-purpose centre were made by USA based Alasana Darboe who donated D50,000 and Faburama Darboe who donated D20,000, Saidou Fatty Sanyang, Buba Bojang five bags of cement, Sir Ousman Barrow 100 bags of cement, Omar Kulay Touray a trip of sand, Momodou Bojang Jambour Two trips of sand respectively.
