By Prince Bubacarr Aminata Sankanu:
If you were not dead stubborn during your junior school years, you missed out on a key aspect of growing up.
I broke that "Aladafix" taboo in Sukuta and the rest is history.
Today's reunion with the school's long-serving staff was all about joy and smiles.
In New Gambia, we just have to many WhatsApp/social media gossips. The responsible stuborness of my time no longer exists.
Shout out to my former comrades of the Rectangle Class. Those "crazy boys" of the Rectangle as our former French language teacher Monsieur Manneh used to tease us. Not forgetting Pentagon Class, the Drama Group and the Red Cross Society.
Being stubborn at a young age does not mean one cannot succeed in life. I am glad that most of my fellows are productive members of society now.
