Volunteers from the United Kingdom have on Wednesday donated garden materials to women gardeners in Madina Kungkunding, a suburb of the sprawling coastal settlement of Gunjur.
63 women gardeners in Madina Kunkunding received garden materials as well as water supply pipes for the extension of the water supply system in the community.
The donations were made through Time for Change Foundatioon (TFCF), a California based charitable organisation founded in 2002 to support women and children achieve self-sufficiency through evidence based supportive services.
The items were presented to the community by Baboucarr Ebrima Camara on behalf of the donors.
