Kevin Tijan Touray on Wednesday donated medical uniforms to the Gunjur Youth for Health organisation to compliment thier health awareness efforts in the community.
Tijan Touray, also called Kevin is a passionate young man about anything Gunjur. He is also a proactive environmentalist. Tijan is currently visiting Gunjur for the first time since he left for the UK. Impressed by what Community Based Organisations like GYH are doing, he felt it is incumbent upon him to contribute.
Handing over the mayerials to Gunjur Youths for Health, Tijan Kevin Toursy called on other Gunjurians especially those in the diaspora to help GYH so they can continue rendering more health awareness activities to the community. Ahmed Manjang, who is an adviser to GYH, thanked Kevin for the generous gesture, saying: “I have no doubt this gift will boost the morale of GYH members.”
Also present at the presentation ceremony were Sheikh Bunama Jatta, Lamin Touray and Choro all expressed sincere gratitude to Kevin for the donation.
