Orbit Travels has today donated a cash sum of D20,000 to the Gunjur Welfare Association towards the ongoing building of a mortuary in the coastal settlement.
For over twenty years, the Gunjur Welfare Association has been responsible for the preparation and transportation of dead bodies of Gunjurians who die at the EFSTH in Banjul for proper burial in Gunjur.
Gunjur Welfare Association comprises of Citizens and friends of Gunjur, established for helping and protecting the welfare of the people of Gunjur and beyond. The Mortuary is being constructed at the Gunjur Health Center.

They started operation in 2008 and since then their stocks have been increasing due to their dedication to duty and clients. In recognition of the use of their company by people from Gunjur and as part of their cooperate social responsibility, they have chosen to donate to the construction of a mortuary in Gunjur.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Momodou Joof, Musa Bayo, and Adama Jeng for Orbit Travels. Dr. Nyambi Touray, Sulayman Jabang, Omar Kaddy Jatta, Ahmed Bojang, Fa Bak Joof and Ahmed Manjang for Gunjur Welfare Association.
Reacting to the cash donation, Momodou Charreh Gibba, Honorable councillor for Gunjur Ward, Dr. Nyambi Touray and Omar Kaddy Jatta all thanked Orbit Travels for the kind donation.
