Former Youth MP for Kombo South, Hon. Omar A. Manjang who also serves as a teacher and farmer is currently in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, participating in the maiden edition of the Africa Digital Agriculture Conference.

The landmark gathering, taking place at the African Union Commission headquarters, brings together young farmers, innovators, policymakers, and investors from across the continent to discuss the future of agriculture in Africa. The conference is held under the theme: “Shaping Agricultural Policy for Africa’s Future.”
Speaking exclusively to Gunjur Online, Hon. Manjang expressed his enthusiasm about being part of such a historic and forward-looking event.
“I am excited to join youth farmers, innovators, policymakers, and investors in the first-ever Africa Digital Agriculture Conference at the African Union Commission headquarters in Ethiopia on the theme: Shaping Agricultural Policy for Africa’s Future. This is an important platform to have genuine discussions about Africa’s agenda for transformative approaches in agricultural development to enhance resilient food systems for a food-secure and self-sufficient continent.”
