Gunjur United Football Club will begin their 2019/2020 Second Division Campaign on Friday, 6th December, 2019 against Team Rhino at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama at 4pm.
Gunjur United finished 5th last season after producing some remarkable performances in the first round. At some stage climbing up to 2nd position in standings. The team’s hopes and aspirations for promotion were dashed towards the end of the campaign after series of disappointing results.
Gunjur will be facing Team Rhino who defeated them in a two legged ties 2-0 at the Independence Stadium and 3-1 returning leg at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.
A new President in the name of Mr Ebrima Sisco Touray CEO TECHWORLD COMPANY has been appointed as Gunjur United's Team President after resourceful and supportive former President Sulayman Sambou tendered his resignation ahead of the new season.
Will Gunjur United register a win in their first match against a team that defeated them in both ties last season or will Team Rhino replicate such a similar performance or results?
