The Gunjur Sports Committee (GSC) has secured a major boost for grassroots football development after signing a D100,000 sponsorship agreement with money transfer giants, APS Wallet.
The deal, announced by GSC on Saturday, 16th August 2025, marks a significant milestone in advancing football activities in Gunjur and its surrounding communities.

The official signing ceremony took place at the APS Wallet headquarters along the Coastal Road, with GSC represented by its President, Lamin Bada Bojang, and 2nd Vice President, Dembo Ndong.
A central feature of the partnership is the introduction of an e-ticketing service powered by APS Wallet, designed to improve fan access and enhance operational efficiency for the committee.
In return, GSC will provide APS Wallet with platforms to engage with teams and supporters, helping the company strengthen its visibility within the local sporting community.
Expressing gratitude, the GSC hailed APS Wallet’s generosity and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the partnership yields long-term benefits for both parties.
