Pa M. Jatta, the former able Public Relations Officer for Gunjur Sports Committee (GSC) has arrived in the United States of America to pursue a Master's Degree in International Development Studies with a focus on Development Economics at the Ohio University.
Pa M. Jatta revolutionised the communications department of the Gunjur Sports Committee during his tenure as PRO until recently when he left to focus on his academics.
He was not only the communications guru for GSC, but also a skilled football analyst and commentator during football matches. In March last year, Pa M. Jatta graduated from the University of The Gambia with a BSc in Development Studies. A trained teacher and skilled media editor and producer, Pa M. Jatta is undoubtedly destined for greater things in his career.
In April this year, Gunjur Sports Committee recognised the immense efforts and contributions of Mr Jatta by presenting him with a certificate and a token cash amount of D2000 at the GSC League finals.
Reacting to the gesture from GSC, Pa M. Jatta said: "With immense delight and huge appreciation, I wish to recognised or acknowledge receipt of this very much appreciated gesture last evening at the GSC 2022-23 Nawettan League Final. I'm indeed very honored and humbled to have received a Certificate Of Recognition from this honourable platform *(Gunjur Sports Development Forum)* with a certificate and D2000. I'm truly short of words to express gratitude to Gunjur Sports Development Forum and the people of Gunjur for your continous support and encouragement - it has been increasingly overwhelming. Gunjur Sports Committee, thank you so much to this very amazing team for the great team efforts - you made it happen.
May Allah reward you all abundantly, grant us long life with good health and achieve all our individual and collective dreams."
Also reacting to the news of Pa Jatta's arrival in the United States for further studies, Translavania based Gunjur-born football veteran, Pa Mambuna Bojang wrote:

Pa M. Jatta is one of the energetic young people who have built a solid foundation for themselves by volunteering their time and resources for the greater good of the community through sports, environmental awareness campaign, youth matters, health and enterprise activities.
