Both Precious Plastic FC and Fabaida United secured dramatic victories in their respective GSC Summer Nawettan fixtures, with last-minute goals proving decisive in two fiercely contested encounters at Nyamina Mini Stadium.

Precious Plastic FC secured their place in the next stage of the competition after edging Bright Star FC in a closely contested 3pm encounter.

The first half ended goalless, with neither side able to break the deadlock. The second half followed a similar pattern, as both teams battled hard in search of the decisive goal.

Just when the match appeared destined to end in a draw, Precious Plastic introduced substitute Suwaibou Saidy, who delivered the decisive moment with a crucial last-minute strike.

His late goal sent Precious Plastic FC through to the next round, leaving Bright Star FC disappointed after a determined performance.

Saidy’s impact earned him the GSC Man of the Match award, capping a memorable appearance off the bench.
