Faburama Darboe, also known as Kampung has donated a blood pressure monitor machine to the Gunjur Health Centre.
The machine was presented to the health centre by the chairman of Gunjur VDC - Mr Tijani Bojang and Gunjur Ward Councillor Momodou Charreh Gibba.
Faburama received information that the health centre is in dire need of the said machine and wasted no time in ordering the machine online and shipping it out to Gunjur.
Speaking at the presentation of the equipment, VDC chairman Bojang thanked Faburama for his generosity, saying Faburama has always been at the forefront of development activities in Gunjur.
Also speaking at the presentation, Councillor Momodou Charreh Gibba thanked Faburama Darboe for the wonderful gesture, saying that it is a tradition between the health centre and the community of Gunjur most especially the Gunjur-diaspora whose members are always looking at ways to boost the health centre in various ways for many years. Mr Gibba also thanked the staff of the health facility.
Reacting to the donation of the blood pressure monitor machine, senior Nurse at the health centre, Mr Jaiteh also thanked the donor, emphasising the importance of the machine, not only at the health centre, but even at a personal level to help with the monitoring of blood pressure.
