The State House in Banjul was awash with red and white as Gambian President Adama Barrow hosted a special celebration for Arsenal supporters following the clubโ€™s historic English Premier League triumph.

A passionate Arsenal fan himself, President Barrow organised a buffet reception for fellow Gunners supporters to mark Arsenalโ€™s first league title in 22 years. The event attracted scores of fans, many of whom arrived dressed in Arsenal replica jerseys, scarves, and club colours, creating a festive atmosphere at the countryโ€™s highest office.

The celebration was held in recognition of Arsenalโ€™s outstanding 2025/26 campaign, which saw the North London club crowned Premier League champions after a long wait for domestic glory. Arsenal also enjoyed an impressive run in the UEFA Champions League, reaching the latter stages of the competition before narrowly falling to Paris Saint-Germain.

Speaking during the gathering, fans expressed their delight at witnessing their beloved club return to the summit of English football. The occasion also highlighted the widespread popularity of Arsenal in The Gambia, where the club enjoys one of the largest fan bases among English football teams.

The State House celebration brought together supporters from different parts of the country, united by their shared passion for Arsenal and their joy at the clubโ€™s long-awaited league success.

The event ended with music, food, and jubilant celebrations as Arsenal fans commemorated a season they will remember for years to come.
