Gunjur United FCโ€™s highly rated striker Musa Joof has joined First Division side, Brikama United on a permanent deal, said a statement by the Brikama outfit.

Accoincing the news on their Facebook page, Brikama United FC revealed the reason they acquired the services of the former Coastal Boysโ€™ striker.

โ€œMusaโ€™s (Joof) goalscoring prowess will bolster our attack in the upcoming Gambia Football Federation Division One Season.โ€


The transfer of Musa Joof to Brikama United from Gunjur United is the latest of series of movements in the transfer market involving high profile players from the Dabanani Division Two side.


Baboucarr Saidy, Gunjur Unitedโ€™s midfield maestro earlier joined Marimoo Pakgood FC. This move was followed by another Gunjur United defender, Ensa Jaiteh joining Baboucarr Saidy at Marimoo Pakfood FC.

Experienced defender Saikou Barrow has left Gunjur United for 1st Division side TMT FC.

Another key player, defender Saikou Barrow has also left Gunjur United for TMT FC back in October and has since been training with this new First Division team.
