Gambian President, His Excellency Adama Barrow will travel to Gunjur on Friday where he will perform Jummah prayers at the magnificent mosque at the beach, GunjurOnline can authoritatively report.
As part of the visit to the sprawling and deeply religious seaside community, the Gambian leader will pay a visit to Alhagie Muhammed Lamin Touray, the newly ordained Imam Ratib of Gunjur to formally congratulate him after he replaced late Bakawsu Touray as Imam of Gunjur.
While in Gunjur, President Barrow will also visit the family of his “adopted father” in Gunjur, late Fa Kejara Barrow where he will personally pay his condolences to the family.
The President will finally visit the family of the late Gunjur Alkalo, Alhagie Ba Giki Darboe to pay his condolences to the family before proceeding to the beach where he will perform Friday prayers at the edifice mosque built by former Gambian tyrant Yahya Jammeh.
