Global Social Media giant, Meta has been hit with a global outage as users worldwide are locked out of their accounts unannounced.
Users discover they have been mysteriously logged out of their accounts and not able to log back in, or could not open the app at all.
When this writer attempted to log in to his personal Facebook account, he was logged out and attempts to log back in were futile sparking initial fears of a hacked account.
However, the issue seems to be as a result of "Required Maintenance" by Meta that is impacting on all social media platforms by Meta
