As the fight against the spread of Covid-19 intensifies, Lawyer Lamin J Darboe has donated 30 bags of Rice to the Gunjur Covid-19 Emergency Relief Committee and 10 Bags of rice to the Abubacar Sidiq Foundation for Needy and Widows (AFNAW) in Gunjur.
Presenting the donations on behalf of Barrister Darbo, Sedick Jatta informed the gathering that these are many of his donations in Gunjur and beyond in these difficult moments in the fight against coronavirus in The Gambia. Mr Jatta emphasise that Mr Darbo is a very generous person who is always happy to help people and promote excellence in Community development.
Receiving the donations on behalf of the beneficiaries, Tijani Bojang, VDC Chairperson thanked Lawyer L J Darbo for his collaborative support towards the food security to the people of his community. Mr Bojang prayed for Barrister Darbo and all the other donors for extending helping hands to the less privileged families in Gunjur and it's surroundings.
Reacting to the donations, Faburama Darboe who is a member of the Gunjur Covid-19 Emergency Relief Fund drive team had this to say: โ GUNJUR COVID 19 EMERGENCY RELIEF COMMITTEE is pleased to acknowledge receipt of thirty bags (30) of rice from His worship Lawyer Lamin J Darboe as part of his contribution to give hope and put smiles on the faces of the vulnerable and the disadvantaged families. On behalf of the community, I wish to express our sincere appreciation and happiness to this magnanimous gesture. Personally, I am not taken by surprise. Lamin J Darboe is always there for Gunjur.
