The partnership was marked by the unveiling of the academy’s new jerseys for the 2026 season, sponsored by the young Kairo design brand of Gunjur-born Abubacarr Darboe. The collaboration is seen as a significant milestone for the academy as it seeks to strengthen its image and professionalism both on and off the field.

According to the academy, the newly unveiled kits each carry symbolic meanings reflecting the values and ambitions of the team. The blue and white home kit represents unity, confidence, and loyalty to the community, while the red and white away kit symbolises passion, courage, and the fighting spirit of the players. The cream and blue neutral kit, meanwhile, reflects creativity, fresh beginnings, and ambition for the future.

Speaking on the partnership, Academy President Ebrima Janneh expressed appreciation to Kairo Brand for supporting the academy’s vision and youth development efforts.

β€œWe thank Kairo Brand for believing in our vision, and we promise to continue working hard to make our community proud,” he said.

The partnership comes at a crucial time for Lion Stars Football Academy as preparations intensify ahead of the new youth league season. The academy continues to position itself as one of the emerging football development institutions dedicated to nurturing young talent in the community.
