Gunjurโ€™s West Coast Zonal campaign has ended following a 2โ€“1 defeat to Central II, on home turf on Sunday, 1st November 2026, while Kartong and Foni secured qualification for the quarter-finals after their 1โ€“1 draw.

Gunjur entered their final group match at the Nyamina Mini Stadium needing a 2โ€“0 victory to keep their hopes alive, alongside a favourable result in the Kartong-Foni encounter.

Central II took the lead in the first half before Gunjur responded after the break through substitute Malang Demba, who scored a brilliant equaliser to make it 1โ€“1.

However, Central II found a second goal before full-time to secure a 2โ€“1 victory and end Gunjurโ€™s hopes of progressing.

In the other fixture, Kartong and Foni played out a 1โ€“1 draw, with both teams advancing to the quarter-finals.
