Concorde Centre, UK recently toured Gunjur community as part of their annual Community outreach program in The Gambia. The Concorde team stayed at Gunjur Project (Gambia), where they organised series of training for the young and women folk.

The team also volunteered at Gunjur Kulukochi community pre-school to help with reading comprehension and renovations on recreational areas of the school. At the end of their volunteering activities, the visitors presented sponsorship packages to students of Gunjur Kulukochi pre-school.

Jeanna Sanderson, a member of the team from the U.K. explained to Gunjur News Online that she once visited the Gambia and stayed in the Senegambia tourism development area where the sight of women struggling propelled her to come up with initiative to help out in her own little way.

"Finding Sally's key operational areas with female youths is to identify their purpose, passion and who they are, develop their knowledge, skills and make the best of opportunities to reach their full potentials."
