The Sub-committee responsible for organising Late Modou Janneh Intermediate football competition has organised a day long training for grass-root coaches in Gunjur.
The capacity building was instructed by Lamin N. Darboe a "B" license coach and Hatab Jobe a "C" license holder.
The Coaches were taught on Football Administration, Coaching and Refereeing. The training that was held at the Gunjur Daycare Center, was attended by some senior coaches and many from the juniors. The participants commended the Sub-committee and the trainers for their effort. "We cannot thank you people. I've been coaching my team for long now, but I don't know most of what we learnt here on administration, coaching and refereeing" says a participant. Momodou Charreh Jibba coordinator of intermediate football expresses happiness over the successfulness of the training and called on the participants to make good use of the training. Jibba explains that the training is organised to help prepare grass-root coaches and players to better understand the game and widen their knowledge in the general administration of the game. He promises that the training will be held annually before the start of intermediate football in Gunjur.
