Former Gambia Army Captain and spokesperson, Ebou Jallow, has disclosed protocols have been triggered for Jammeh’s return to The Gambia after four years of exile in Equatorial Guinea.
His words: “Tumultuous days ahead as the former President of the Second Republic is gearing up to making a grand return to his motherland. I have credible information about the homecoming of the Gambia’s most illustrious son, H.E. Sheikh Professor Elhajj Yahya Abdul-Aziz Junkung Jemus Jammeh, Babili Mansa. The Equatorial Guinea government has been reported to have initiated the necessary diplomatic protocols in accord with the agreement published by the United Nations, AU and ECOWAS on 21 January 2017. This is a moment a lot of Babili supporters about 40% of the Gambia’s electorate have been praying for and also a moment of closure to others who felt victimized by his regime. Time will tell…we shall analyze what Babili’s return shall mean and we let you decide for yourselves”.
