#Sanyang crisis: Identity of stabbed man revealed
The man alledgedly stabbed to death by a Senegalese man who broke into his property to steal has been named as 33 year old Gibril Ceesay.
Gibril celebrated the birth of his child just a month ago. He was tragically killed in a botched robbery last night.
As a result of his death, youths of the community of Sanyang in Kombo South took to the streets to demand justice, burning down a police station in the process. The Police Intervention Unit of The Gambia Police Force are currently facing off with protesters as teargass and stones exchange sides
