The West Coast and Gambia Amputee Football Star, Buba Jatta

Born in 2002, Buba attended Nyofelleh Primary School like most kids around him and started playing street football with his friends while going through his normal childhood. Unfortunately, what started as a headache ended up as a pain in his right leg which was amputated in 2009.

This new reality did not deter Buba, he continued with his education as well as playing football and in 2021, he joined the Amputee Football Team to continue playing the game of football he dearly love. Buba is also a Grade 10 student at the Sanyang Senior Secondary as he builds his footballing career.
