Gambian business tycoon Abubakar Jawara has revealed that he committed identity fraud to travel back to Angola after his initial deportation from the diamond and oil rich country by changing his age.
In an exclusive interview with Fatu Network’s Lamin Njie, the business man said “I was deported from Angola and because I wanted to return back to Angola, I added one more year to my age to enable me return back to Angola”.
When quizzed by Lamin Njie that he engaged in age cheating the business man retorted that he had to do what he had to do to make it back into Angola. “Changing my age was the only thing I could do to get back into Angola to hustle and I did what I had to do” the notorious business man concluded.
