Members of Gunjur Village Development committee has failed to show up for the Annual General Meeting slated for Sunday 17th September. According to the Alkali of the village, their reasons of failing to attend the AGM was "there will be too much of argument", according to our correspondent Famara Badjie who was at the meeting. 

According to our reliable source in the heart of things on the ground, another meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday, 18th September at the Alkalo's residence to set up an interim committee that will steer the affairs of the VDC until a new VDC can be constituted.
